Young Innovators Program
Canada’s housing economy is being rebuilt. Who leads it next?
The Canada Builds Modern Young Innovators Program is designed to identify, equip, and connect the next generation of housing leaders.
Open to emerging professionals aged 30 and under, the program provides access to the people, ideas, and networks shaping the future of housing delivery in Canada. Participants will gain practical industry knowledge, leadership development, one-to-one mentorship, and full access to Canada Builds Modern. Through a curated experience including three dedicated Studio Sessions, Young Innovators will be challenged to think boldly, collaborate across disciplines, and build the skills needed to help transform how housing is delivered.
Applicants may come from a range of backgrounds, including development, construction, architecture, planning, engineering, public policy, finance, manufacturing, technology, sustainability, community development, healthcare and social impact. Individuals from across Canada are encouraged to apply – financial support for travel related costs will be available for a limited number of out-of-province participants.
Leadership MentorshipYou will be matched with a senior leader for one-to-one mentorship, career guidance, and sector insight.
Full Summit AccessYou will receive full access to Canada Builds Modern, including keynote sessions, policy discussions, the Innovation Expo, networking events, and exclusive opportunities to connect with Canada’s housing leaders.
Leadership StudioYou will build practical housing knowledge and leadership skills across key themes, including systems change, housing policy, project delivery, financing, collaborative leadership, and building influence.
Young Innovators NetworkYou will join a growing community of emerging leaders committed to advancing housing innovation, affordability, and delivery across Canada.
